Uzbekistanʼs Ministry of Foreign Affairs issues statement on the Israel-Iran conflict
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan has issued an official statement expressing deep concern over the escalating situation in the Middle East, particularly regarding Israelʼs military operation against the Islamic Republic of Iran.
“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan expresses its deep concern regarding the Israeli military operation against the Islamic Republic of Iran, which has resulted in human casualties and further exacerbated tensions in the region.
We call on all parties to exercise maximum restraint, to immediately cease military actions, and to resolve the conflict through political and diplomatic means.
We consider the risk of further escalation, which could lead to a large-scale confrontation, to be alarming.
Uzbekistan reaffirms its commitment to strengthening regional stability and expresses its readiness to support efforts aimed at de-escalating the conflict” the statement reads.
