UAE President awards Uzbekistan’s Ambassador Abdulaziz Akkulov with the “Independence” order
President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan awarded Uzbekistan’s Ambassador to the UAE, Abdulaziz Akkulov, the First Class Order of Independence on the occasion of the completion of his diplomatic mission in the country, Dunyo Information Agency reported.
According to the report, Akkulov, who was recently appointed Chairman of Uzbekistan’s Tourism Committee, received the award during a meeting held at the UAE Ministry ofForeign Affairs. The award was presented by UAE Minister Saeed bin Mubarak Al - Hajeri.
During the meeting, the minister discussed issues of bilateral cooperation between the UAE and Uzbekistan, emphasizing his commitment to further developing relations across all areas. Al - Hajeri wished the ambassador success in his future endeavors and highly praised his role in strengthening bilateral relations during his tenure.
In response, Abdulaziz Akkulov expressed deep gratitude to President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and acknowledged the UAE leadership’s achievements and progress, which reflect the country’s determination to strengthen its positionon the global stage.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Uzbek diplomat expressed appreciation to all government institutions for their cooperation, which contributed to the successful fulfillment of his mission to strengthen bilateral relations.
