New head appointed to Uzbekistan Airports
Javlonbek Oybekovich Umarkhodjaev was appointed acting chairman of the board of Uzbekistan Airports JSC. This was reported by the Ministry of Transport.
In accordance with the relevant decision made at general meeting of company shareholders, the employment contract signed with the Chairman of Uzbekistan Airports JSC Rano Djuraeva was terminated.
"During two and a half years of leadership of Rano Djuraeva, major changes were implemented within the company.
In particular, efforts to develop airport infrastructure, improve the company's management system, and improve its financial and economic performance have yielded positive results," the ministry said.
