President of Uzbekistan receives US delegation
The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with a US delegation headed by USAID Administrator Samantha Power on October 23.
The American side is staying in our country to participate in the meeting of Central Asian countries and the USA on the issues of development at the ministerial level.
The issues of further development of constructive and mutually beneficial bilateral cooperation were discussed.
It should be noted that several projects in health care, education, green energy, agribusiness, and other areas have already been implemented and are at the stage of realization in Uzbekistan in cooperation with USAID.
The sides exchanged views on the practical implementation of the agreements reached during the summit of the heads of state in the "C5+1" format within the framework of the UN General Assembly session in New York in September this year.
