Shavkat Mirziyoyev congratulates UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on his birthday

On March 11, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev extended his heartfelt congratulations to the President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on his birthday during a telephone conversation.
Uzbek Leader wished his UAE counterpart good health, prosperity, and continued success in his leadership. He also conveyed his best wishes for peace and well-being to the people of the Emirates. The heads of state also warmly congratulated each other on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, which is sacred to the entire Muslim Ummah.
The leaders emphasized that President Mirziyoyevʼs visit to the UAE in January marked a new chapter in bilateral relations, strengthening ties to a strategic partnership. A dedicated roadmap has been adopted to implement the agreements reached during the visit.
The leaders expressed satisfaction with the dynamic development of multifaceted cooperation between Uzbekistan and the UAE, particularly in trade, economic, and investment spheres. The volume of bilateral trade, investments, and joint ventures continues to grow steadily.
Currently, within a $20 billion project portfolio, Uzbekistan is actively collaborating with leading Emirati companies in key areas, including green energy, digital transformation, artificial intelligence, urban development, infrastructure, tourism, and private business.
The discussion also covered preparations for the second summit of the “Central Asia – Gulf Arab States Cooperation Council” dialogue, scheduled to take place in Samarkand.
