Shavkat Mirziyoyev congratulates the new president of the Republic of Korea
President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has congratulated Lee Jae-myung on his election as President of the Republic of Korea and expressed his warmest wishes for success in his new role.
In his message, the Uzbek leader expressed confidence that under Lee Jae-myungʻs leadership, South Koreaʼs intellectual and economic strength will continue to grow, and its standing and influence on the international stage will be further enhanced.
“We place special importance on elevating the friendly and comprehensive ties between our countries to a new level. I am confident that, during your presidency, our special strategic partnership will see rapid progress across all priority areas,” the letter states.
To further strengthen the multifaceted and long-term ties between the two countries, the President of Uzbekistan also invited President Lee to pay an official visit to Uzbekistan at a time of his convenience.
