Uzbek who headed one of the terrorist organizations in Syria killed

A citizen of Uzbekistan, who led one of the terrorist organizations, was killed during the battles in Syria. This was reported by the Main Department of Internal Affairs of Tashkent.
Ulugbek Babamuratov, born in 1972, temporarily registered in Yunusabad district of Tashkent and had secondary education degree. In 2009-2010, he organized the "Jihadchilar jamoati" in Termiz. In 2011, most members of the group were arrested, and the rest were wanted. The members of the "Termiz jamoati" who were in Russia at that time fled to Turkey.
In May 2013, Ulugbek Babamuratov founded the international terrorist organization "Katibat ul Imam al-Bukhari" in Syria. In the same year, a criminal case was initiated against him under Article 244-2 of the Criminal Code (Establishment, Direction of or Participation in Religious Extremist, Separatist, Fundamentalist or Other Banned Organizations) and he was put on the wanted list.
"Urgent information has now been received that Babamuratov Ulugbek Abdurasulovich died in hostilities in Syria," Main Department of Internal Affairs of Tashkent reported.
