Two Uzbekistan National team players included in Asiaʼs FIFA Day symbolic team
Two rounds of the third stage of World Cup qualification in Asia have been played. The popular publication “SofaScore” compiled a symbolic team featuring the most active players from these rounds.
Uzbekistanʼs Eldor Shomurodov, a forward for Roma, and former Nasaf defender Husniddin Alikulov were included in the symbolic team of the second round.
SofaScore rated Shomurodovʼs performance at 8.4 out of 10, while Alikulovʼs play was deemed worthy of an 8 rating.
It should be noted that Uzbekistanʼs national team played against Kyrgyzstan in the second round and won a hard-fought match 3-2. In this match, both Eldor Shomurodov and Husniddin Alikulov scored one goal each for their team.

Earlier, it was reported that Uzbekistan defeated Egypt and Angola in the 45th World Chess Olympiad.
