President of Uzbekistan receives delegation of Azerbaijan
On October 17, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with Orkhan Sultanov, head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan, who is in our country on a working visit.
Discussions focused on further deepening Uzbekistan-Azerbaijan relations of alliance and multifaceted cooperation in the context of implementing agreements reached at the highest level.
The importance of strengthening close inter-agency cooperation and effective coordination between special services to combat modern threats such as terrorism, extremism, radicalism, cybercrime, and other security challenges was emphasized.
Also, issues of expanding practical cooperation aimed at promoting the economic development of Afghanistan were discussed.
