The President of Uzbekistan to pay a working visit to Saudi Arabia
At the invitation of the custodian of the two holy mosques – King of Saudi Arabia Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev will visit Jeddah on July 18-19 this year to participate the first Summit in the format of “Central Asia – Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf”.
The leaders of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Kingdom of Bahrain, the State of Qatar, the State of Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, the Sultanate of Oman, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Tajikistan and Turkmenistan and General Secretary of the Council are expected to participate in the upcoming high-level meeting.
According to the agenda, the issues of developing interregional cooperation in political, trade and economic, investment, cultural and humanitarian spheres will be considered. The sides will exchange views on current aspects of international and regional politics.
A number of bilateral meetings are planned to be held within the framework of the summit.
