A cybersecurity laboratory, established in cooperation with the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Fergana Region, has begun operations at the Fergana branch of the Tashkent University of Information Technologies (TUIT).
The laboratory is equipped with cutting-edge information technology that aligns with global standards. Individual computer workstations have been installed to enable each student to work independently. Additionally, to enhance convenience a dormitory has been constructed within the laboratory’s vicinity.
“Today, the use of modern information technologies is essential for preventing and combating crime, as well as for training qualified specialists in IT and engineering," said Lieutenant Colonel Gulnora Muidinova, Chief Expert of the Expert-Criminalistics Department at the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Fergana Region. “In this higher education institution, students will acquire knowledge in these critical areas. The laboratory plays an essential role in bringing students’ theoretical knowledge with practical application.”
The most talented students in this field will be selected, and all necessary conditions will be provided for them to undergo practical experience at the laboratory during their free time throughout the year.
